The sixteenth meeting of the Anglican Consultative Council was held at Lusaka, Zambia, from 8 to 19 April 2016. The resolution has four clauses: it welcomes and affirms “the substance” of the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification, and recalls the earlier Anglican dialogues on justification with Lutherans and with Roman Catholics. It is a shorter and less detailed act than the Methodist and Reformed statements of association. See Lutherans and Catholics Agree on Justification.
