The text is a motion of three parliamentary groups dated 31 May 2016. Its title uses the word Völkermord, genocide. It names Aramean, Assyrian and Chaldean Christians beside the Armenians, and says that the German Empire, as the chief military ally of the Ottoman Empire, did not try to stop what its own diplomats and missionaries reported. It is cited in the Destruction of the Armenian and Assyrian Christians only for the use of the term.
