The decrees are cited by session. The council sat for forty-five sessions between November 1414 and April 1418. Its acts include the bull by which John XXIII convoked it, the decrees of the fifth session on the council’s authority (Haec sancta), the condemnations of the teaching of John Wycliffe and of Jan Hus, the depositions of John XXIII and Benedict XIII and the acceptance of Gregory XII’s resignation, the decree on regular councils (Frequens), and the acts of Martin V after his election.

The online page mixes three kinds of text: the decrees themselves, Tanner’s short summaries of sessions he does not print, and comments added by the person who put the text online. Only the decrees and Tanner’s summaries are used in this wiki, and a summary is called a summary where it is cited. See the Council of Constance and the Burning of Jan Hus, the Great Western Schism and Wycliffe and the First English Bible.
