The chronology was written for the twentieth anniversary of 1989. Its entries include the Leipzig demonstration of 9 October, the resignation of Erich Honecker on 18 October, the breach of the Berlin Wall on 9 November, and the outbreak of protests at Timișoara in Romania on 16 December, which it describes as a response to the government’s attempt to evict the dissident pastor László Tőkés, by then a member of the parliament.

It is a summary made long afterwards by a press office, not a primary document, and the wiki uses it only because no document of December 1989 on the Timișoara events was found on an open institutional site. Tőkés was a member of the parliament that published it.
