The magazine describes itself as published monthly at Seoul in the interest of all the evangelical missions in Korea, and it printed letters and reports from their missionaries. The number for March 1907 opens with “How the Spirit Came to Pyeng Yang” by Graham Lee, the Presbyterian missionary who led the meeting of 14 January, followed by “Impressions of an Eye Witness” by W. B. Hunt and a report on the meetings that followed in Seoul. The number for November 1907 reports the first meeting of the Presbytery of Korea, on 17 September, and the ordination of seven Korean ministers.

These are accounts by foreign missionaries, written for supporters at home. They are the nearest reports in time that are cited in the Pyongyang Revival, and they name the Koreans who took part only in passing.
