The release says that Stott died at Lingfield, Surrey, on 27 July 2011; that he was appointed rector of All Souls Church, Langham Place, London, in 1950 at the age of 29 and became rector emeritus in 1975; that he was the chief architect of the Lausanne Covenant and remained honorary chairman of the movement until his death; that the Langham Partnership is perhaps his major legacy; and that in 1982 he founded the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity.

It is an obituary notice written by colleagues, not a contemporary document of the events of 1974. The wiki cites it only for the date of his death and for the offices named. The site may refuse automated requests; the page opens in an ordinary browser.
