Biography of Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv and All Ukraine

The page gives the secular name of Epiphanius of Kyiv, Serhii Petrovych Dumenko, his birth on 3 February 1979 in the village of Volkove in the Odesa region, his monastic profession in 2007 and his ordination as a bishop in 2009 in the church then called the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate, by its patriarch Filaret. It records his election as primate at the unifying council of 15 December 2018 and says that he received the tomos from the hands of the Ecumenical Patriarch on 6 January 2019 during the liturgy in the cathedral of St George at the Phanar.
