The constitution has six short chapters, on revelation itself, its handing on, the inspiration and interpretation of Scripture, the Old Testament, the New Testament, and Scripture in the life of the church. Articles 9 and 10 describe tradition and Scripture as flowing from one source and forming a single deposit, and say that the church does not draw its certainty about everything revealed from Scripture alone. Article 22 asks for translations from the original languages and allows them to be made together with other Christians; article 25 urges every believer to frequent reading of Scripture.
