The page is a brief institutional history. It names the Edinburgh missionary conference of 1910 among the council’s historical roots, lists the International Missionary Council among the bodies later incorporated into it, and dates that merger to 1961. It is not a contemporary record of any of those events and is cited only for how the council describes its own origins.
