The conference published its own record in the year it met. Volumes 1 to 8 each contain the report of one commission, drawn up beforehand from the answers of missionaries around the world, followed by the speeches made when the report was debated. Volume 9 tells how the conference was prepared, prints the minutes of every session, lists the delegates and gives the addresses delivered in the evenings, among them that of V. S. Azariah.
It is the conference’s account of itself. The volumes are cited in the World Missionary Conference at Edinburgh for what was said and resolved.
